Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify specific needs and challenges, then implement and oversee individualized treatment programs including strength training, manual therapy, and modalities. Monitor patient progress by documenting outcomes and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect evolving therapeutic goals. Educate patients and families on recovery strategies, exercise regimens, and assistive device usage to enhance independence. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care, while assisting in the mentoring of new graduates. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and active participation in professional organizations. This full-time role is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Freehold, NJ, offering a salary of $100,000–$120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
- Proficient in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and familiar with general word processing and computer tasks.
- Demonstrable flexibility and agility to adapt to varying patient needs and clinic schedules.
- Two years of professional experience in physical therapy
