Job Summary
Implement treatment plans by assisting with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications under Physical Therapist supervision. Monitor and document patient progress while educating patients and families on self-care techniques. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and accurately record treatments in compliance with facility policies. Requires an Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting and valid state licensure. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
