Job Summary
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans by providing direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications. Monitor and document patient progress while reporting observations and educating patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care techniques. Accurately document treatments and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Requires an Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting, valid state licensure, and proficiency in electronic health record systems. Full-time position in Sun City Center, FL with an hourly rate up to $36/hr and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
