Job Summary
Assist in implementing treatment plans by providing direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications. Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to Physical Therapists, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols and self-care techniques. Accurately document patient treatments and responses in compliance with facility policies while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. This part-time role offers 10-15 hours per week with an hourly rate of $32-$38.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools
- Proficiency in using therapy equipment
- Proficiency in using relevant software
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
