Job Summary
Physical Therapist Assistant will support patient care under the direction of Physical Therapists, working with a diverse inpatient population to help patients regain function, mobility, and independence. The role is based at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, GA, within an inpatient rehabilitation team, in a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with an optional weekend acute care rotation. The setting is an inpatient hospital with a focus on a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach and a patient-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (or equivalent standing)
- Eligible for Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- New graduate PTAs encouraged to apply
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with patients and clinical staff
