Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising PT and chart appropriately and timely. Utilize therapy software accurately, assist in patient evacuation, and liaise with families and support departments to plan for patient needs. Demonstrate good judgment, maintain professional relationships, and adhere to all safety, sanitation, and compliance standards. Perform essential physical tasks including sitting, standing, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
