Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care in physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist for patients in a post-acute care setting. Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program (ASPT) and actively licensed in the state. CPR certification required. New grads welcome; one year of experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/email. Participate in community health matters as appropriate, collaborate with patients, families, and other departments to plan patient needs, and follow established treatment plans and programs. Maintain charts, use therapy software, demonstrate excellent customer service, uphold patient rights, safety, and sanitation, and adhere to Life Care policies and Code of Conduct. Must maintain confidentiality and work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Location: Scituate, MA.
Required Qualifications
