Job Summary
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in Life Care Center of Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). Performs physical therapy treatments per physician referral, maintains documentation, uses therapy software, participates in an interdisciplinary team, and upholds confidentiality and compliance. Requires an active state license, ASPT accordingly, CPR certification, and proficiency with Word/Excel/email; new grads welcome with one year preferred. Responsibilities include charting, assisting patients, and contributing to a safe, patient-centered care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Follow physical therapy treatment plans under direction of supervising PT
- Chart appropriately and timely
- Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
