Job Summary
PTA provides direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a Life Care Centers of America SNF setting. Follow established PT treatment plans, document appropriately, and use therapy software. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs. Maintain patient rights, safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct. Exhibit dependable attendance, strong communication, and customer-service orientation while contributing to a positive, patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (ASPT)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable state and maintain active license
- CPR certification at hire or during orientation (must remain current)
- New grads welcome to apply; one year experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
