Job Summary
The PTA performs direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following approved treatment plans, to patients referred by physicians. Requires completion of an accredited PTA program and active licensure in the state; new grads welcome. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, delivering patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to policies. Proficiency in Word/Excel/email and CPR compliance are required; position supports ongoing education and growth within a networked post-acute care setting. Located in Tucson, AZ with full-time schedule and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing
- One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; CPR certification must remain current
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
- Demonstrates knowledge of practices, procedures, laws, regulations governing post-acute care facilities
- Ability to chart appropriately and timely
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism; adheres to Code of Conduct
