Job Summary
PTA provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Responsibilities include following established treatment plans, charting, using therapy software, delivering high-quality patient-centered care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT), active state licensure, CPR certification, and strong communication skills in English. Preferred one year of experience; new grads welcome. Must adhere to Life Care standards and comply with policies, codes of conduct, and confidentiality. Ability to assist in patient safety, equipment use, and participate in community health initiatives as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
