Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a post-acute care facility. Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients, chart appropriately and timely, utilize therapy software, and exhibit strong customer service and teamwork. Maintain confidentiality and comply with Life Care standards and company policies. Prepare for and participate in CPR requirements, keep current CPR certification, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Requires active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduation from an accredited PTA program, and ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and mobility as part of patient care; demonstrate good body mechanics and dependable attendance. An Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Active license in good standing
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Demonstrates knowledge of post-acute care facility policies and procedures
- Ability to follow treatment plans under supervision
- Ability to chart appropriately and timely
- Excellent customer service and teamwork
