Job Summary
Physical Therapy Assistant provides direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. Responsibilities include following PT treatment plans, charting and using therapy software, delivering excellent patient service, supporting evacuation procedures, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requires ASPT degree, active PTA license in good standing, CPR certification, and proficiency with Word/Excel/email. Strong emphasis on patient rights, safety, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program (ASPT)
- Current state license/registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
