Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising licensed Physical Therapist. Chart appropriately and timely while utilizing therapy software to track progress. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care, and assist in patient evacuation when needed. Demonstrate good body mechanics and make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct, and function productively on an interdisciplinary team. Requires current state licensure, CPR certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
