Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising PT and chart appropriately and timely. Utilize therapy software accurately, liaise with patients and families to plan needs, and assist in patient evacuation. Demonstrate good judgment when making independent decisions, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and compliance training. Perform proficiently in all competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation while communicating productively on an interdisciplinary team. Requires current licensure, CPR certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
