Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist, chart appropriately, and utilize therapy software accurately. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care while demonstrating good body mechanics and independent decision-making when circumstances warrant. Perform competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation, and assist in patient evacuation. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct, and function productively on an interdisciplinary team within Skilled Nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation facilities. New grads welcome.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
