Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising licensed Physical Therapist. Chart appropriately and utilize therapy software accurately while implementing departmental programs, goals, and policies. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan for patient needs, and demonstrate good body mechanics during all activities. Participate in community health projects as appropriate and assist in patient evacuation when required. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct, and function productively on an interdisciplinary team. Requires an active state license, one year experience preferred, and CPR certification. Full-time in-house position with background screening via Flclearinghouse.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
