Job Summary
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a post-acute care facility. Responsibilities include following PT treatment plans, charting accurately, using therapy software, delivering excellent customer service to patients, assisting in patient evacuation, maintaining regular attendance, exercising sound judgment, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Requires active PTA licensure, ASPT/associate degree, CPR certification, and proficiency with Word/Excel/email; 1 year experience preferred (new grads welcome); must adhere to policies and maintain confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable state and active license
- CPR certification (upon hire or during orientation)
- One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- English language proficiency
- Demonstrate proper body mechanics
- Follow and implement department policies/procedures
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Code of Conduct
