Job Summary
Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and current state licensure, with CPR certification. Responsibilities include following established PT treatment plans, charting and timely documentation, utilizing therapy software, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to address patient needs. Must demonstrate good body mechanics, professional conduct, and the ability to communicate with patients, families, and other staff. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program (ASPT)
- Current license to practice physical therapy in applicable state
- CPR certification either at hire or during orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to follow PT treatment plans under supervision
- Good communication within an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
