Job Summary
PTA provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in post-acute care facilities, including long-term and short-term rehab, within an interdisciplinary team to promote functional progress and quality of life. Responsibilities include following treatment plans, charting, utilizing therapy software, delivering excellent patient service, participating in patient planning with families and staff, maintaining confidentiality and compliance, and upholding Life Care standards. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program (ASPT), active state licensure, CPR certification, and strong computer skills; new grads welcome. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (ASPT)
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation (current during employment)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
