Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist, chart appropriately, and utilize therapy software accurately. Perform competency areas including patient evacuation, demonstrate good body mechanics, and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Implement department programs, goals, and policies while adhering to all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards regarding patient rights, safety, and sanitation. Maintain current CPR certification and complete mandatory compliance training. Work in Skilled Nursing Facilities serving diverse populations with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
