Job Summary
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments, modifying and implementing treatment plans as directed by supervising Physical Therapists. Instruct patients on therapeutic exercises, utilizing modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation to promote healing. Educate patients and families on home exercise techniques while tracking and documenting progress to facilitate communication with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and occupational therapists to create holistic care plans addressing individual recovery goals for diverse populations including surgical, injury, and chronic condition patients.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
