Job Summary
Implement physical therapy interventions, educate patients on therapeutic exercises, and assess individual needs to adapt care plans. Collaborate with the supervising physical therapist to adjust treatment recommendations based on patient progress, safety, and comfort levels. Document all treatment aspects accurately in medical records and carry out vital data collection routines to support informed decision-making. Regularly assess and report on patient performance metrics, participate in case discussions, and stay current with ethical practices and legal requirements. Work with a diverse patient demographic recovering from surgical procedures, chronic pain, sports injuries, and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field
- Valid licensure or certification to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Texas
- A robust knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques
- A robust knowledge of patient assessment protocols
- A robust knowledge of healthcare documentation processes
- Proficiency with rehabilitation equipment
- Proficiency with rehabilitation modalities
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field, showcasing a foundational understanding of anatomy
