Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising PT and chart appropriately and timely. Utilize therapy software accurately, assist in patient evacuation, and demonstrate good body mechanics while performing all competency areas including patient safety and sanitation. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care, communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team, and implement department policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to compliance training, and exhibit excellent customer service in a supportive, patient-centered environment serving diverse populations with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
