Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Conduct physical therapy treatments and related duties as assigned by the therapist, carrying out procedures according to the Registered Physical Therapist's Plan of Care. Treat patients post-evaluation, counsel patients and families on special problems, and supervise Rehab Technicians. Maintain proper equipment and supplies, document all patient treatments, and submit written reports for any recorded incidents or accidents. Stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate electrical equipment while adhering to the APTA code of ethics. This Full Time SNF position at Greenbriar at the Altamont in Birmingham, Alabama, requires an accredited PT Assistant graduate with Alabama licensure.
