Job Summary
Follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients under the direction of a supervising licensed Physical Therapist. Chart appropriately and utilize therapy software to track patient progress. Liaise with patients, families, and support departments to plan care, while demonstrating good body mechanics during patient evacuation and daily tasks. Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team and adhere to all Life Care standards, policies, and compliance training. Part of a network of nearly 200 facilities offering continuing education opportunities. Full-time position with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT)
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- CPR certification must remain current during employment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
