Job Summary
Maintain floor stock, restock areas, and remove expired medications while rotating stock to ensure quality controls. Prepack floor bulk prescribed medications, package fill, and ship medications under supervisor direction. Adhere to pharmacy standards and policies, completing any other assigned tasks. Experience with Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room is a plus. Requires FL Pharmacy Technician license, high school diploma, and ability to perform light lifting. Shift includes 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends. SpecialtyRx provides pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Ability to physically perform light lifting
- Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working Controlled Drugs (Narcotics) room a plus
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Previous data entry experience preferred
