Job Summary
Pharmacy Floor Technician responsible for preparing prescription medications for final verification by a pharmacist. Includes picking, labeling, scanning, packaging, and organizing medications with high accuracy; supports daily pharmacy operations; maintains workstation organization; ensures compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations. Key duties include filling daily drug orders under pharmacist supervision, labeling and scanning, alerting pharmacist to scan issues, processing returns and disposal, prepacking medications, and maintaining a clean, compliant work area. Schedule includes PM shift with potential overtime, holidays, and weekend work; requires high school diploma and active IL Pharmacy Technician license; prior pharmacy technician experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work at a moderate speed
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Possess and Maintain a Clear and Active IL Pharmacy Technician License issued by IL Board of Pharmacy
