Licensed Pathology Technician - Surgical Pathology - Full-Time -Evenings

Licensed Pathology Technician for Surgical Pathology (Full-Time, Evening shift) at NYP/Weill Cornell in Manhattan. Primary duties include grossing biopsy specimens, verifying patient information against protocol, determining proper orientation and margins, applying dissection procedures, and dictating gross descriptions using glossaries and the MModal system. Responsibilities also include entering specimen data into the CoPath Laboratory Information System. Requires NYS licensure as a Lab Technician or Histological Technician, ASCP certification, and an Associate degree or equivalent experience. On-site presence is required. Hours 2pm-10pm, Monday-Friday. Location: NYP/Weill Cornell campus, Upper East Side, New York, NY. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with collaboration across clinical teams.
