Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with functional limitations, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to specific needs. Implement treatment protocols based on clinical findings while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to adjust care and optimize recovery. Facilitate discharge planning and ensure follow-up arrangements, maintaining accurate documentation of all patient interactions and treatment progress. Adhere to state practice acts and regulations, engaging in ongoing training to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal standards. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at our outpatient facility in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program
- A valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Florida
- A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Previous involvement in multidisciplinary team settings and collaborative care models
- A background in specialty areas such as sports rehabilitation, geriatric therapy, or post-surgical rehabilitation
