Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of orthopedic patients, developing tailored treatment plans and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to optimize recovery. Educate patients and families on conditions and preventive strategies while maintaining accurate documentation of all evaluations and treatments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, to ensure seamless care continuity and supervise support staff to uphold operational protocols. Participate in ongoing professional development and assist in community outreach initiatives to promote rehabilitation programs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- A valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Experience in a role that required interaction with patients
- Leadership experience or involvement in supervision and mentorship of junior staff or students
