Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical condition following injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Design and implement customized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise regimens, and advanced equipment. Track and document patient progress consistently while educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-care strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care for diverse populations including children, adults, and seniors managing orthopedic conditions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous education and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, allowing for the provision of therapy services in Florida
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems
- A friendly, approachable demeanor
- A strong commitment to patient-centered care
