Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of movement patterns, strength, and range of motion for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic conditions, and sports injuries. Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular techniques, while providing education on expected outcomes and home exercise programs. Monitor progress through functional outcome measures to adapt interventions and collaborate with physicians and surgeons for integrated care. Maintain accurate documentation adhering to regulatory requirements. Outpatient hours run Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Physical Therapy License (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centric approach
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere
- Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring attention to detail in patient care and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification
- Experience in post-operative rehabilitation for orthopedic patients
- Familiarity with modern treatment techniques, including but not limited to dry needling and ultrasound therapy
