Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions using hands-on assessments and diagnostic tools. Develop individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training. Administer specialized therapies tailored to specific patient needs while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and caregivers on post-treatment exercises and proper use of assistive devices. Participate in regular intake assessments for new patients and maintain current field knowledge through professional literature and workshops. This role supports a multidisciplinary team in Fort Lauderdale, focusing on orthopedic conditions, post-surgery recovery, and chronic illnesses. Candidates must hold an active Florida license and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and patient management
- Strong adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional integrity
Desired Qualifications
- Though prior experience is not a requirement, candidates with internships or clinical rotation experience in orthopedic settings will be considered an asset
