Job Summary
Develop individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Implement evidence-based interventions incorporating manual therapy and therapeutic exercise while maintaining a manageable caseload for thorough assessment and patient education. Continuously monitor treatment outcomes to adjust care plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic rehabilitation. Document patient interactions accurately in Web PT and participate in staff meetings to share clinical insights. Work onsite at our Fairfax, Virginia facility from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in applying various manual therapy techniques
- Strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation frameworks
- Experience in designing and implementing effective exercise rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient goals
- Skill in using EMR software, especially Web PT, to document therapy services accurately
- Staying current with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Exposure to sports medicine
- Experience working with athletes
- Familiarity with various therapeutic technologies and equipment relevant to physical therapy
