Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' musculoskeletal conditions and develop tailored rehabilitation plans to restore function and reduce pain. Utilize evidence-based practices for home-based therapy sessions with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or addressing mobility challenges. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to execute treatment plans, gather accurate patient records, and mentor physical therapy interns and students. Prepare educational in-service sessions to update staff on evolving orthopedic treatment approaches. Pursue clinical research projects aligned with expertise under managerial support. Requires active New Jersey state license, Bachelor's degree, and two years of orthopedic experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement patient care plans based on best practice and clinical judgments
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
- Experience working in a home care setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting patient interactions and treatment progress
