Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children and adults with orthopedic conditions, ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery. Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices while regularly monitoring progress through SOAP notes and care plans. Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and tools to aid recovery, addressing specific challenges throughout the rehabilitation process. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including occupational and speech therapists to ensure coordinated care. Maintain compliance with electronic health records systems and stay active in professional development within the clinic.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program
- Current and unrestricted state licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy in Florida
- Exceptional communication skills
- A proactive, flexible approach to work in our fast-paced clinical setting
