Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Monitor patient progress from surgical recoveries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions, adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments. Document all interactions, outcomes, and modifications accurately while educating patients on self-management strategies. Collaborate with physicians and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for diverse populations including children, adults, and seniors. Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through continuous education and relevant workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to adapt and provide flexible treatment solutions
