Job Summary
The Clinical Therapist provides outpatient therapy to individuals, families, and groups addressing mental health concerns. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, developing and monitoring person-centered treatment plans (with goals tied to identified needs), delivering individual/family/group therapy using active listening and empathic responses, facilitating access to community resources, and completing transition/discharge planning within 14 days of events. The role involves identifying emergency crises and coordinating appropriate interventions, with duties extending to miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Requires LLMSW/LLPC as minimum, with preferred full licensure as a therapist (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT); valid Michigan driver's license; and a master's degree in counseling or related field (Master of Social Work or better).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: LLMSW, LLPC - REQUIRED
- Fully Licensed Therapist preferred
- Masters in Counseling or related field (Master of Social Work or better)
- Licenses & Certifications: Lic Professional Counselor, Lic Master Social Worker, Lim Lic Prof Counselor, Lic Professional Counselor
- Education: Masters or better in Counseling or related field
- License(s) as required per Michigan state licensing board (LPC, LMSW, LMFT)
