Job Summary

Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment scheduling, and optimize office flow. Educate patients on contact lens care, eyewear options, and post-examination instructions, then make lens recommendations and close sales based on exam findings. Interpret insurance benefits, calculate patient responsibility, and dispense optical orders ensuring proper fit. Ensure examination room cleanliness and utilize electronic health record systems like Epic for patient management. This Licensed Optician role requires an Optical License, experience, and proficiency in optical systems and retail math.
