Job Summary
Deliver exceptional client experiences by guiding customers through frame and lens selections tailored to their lifestyle and style. Execute precise measurements, fittings, and adjustments while troubleshooting prescription issues and acting as a liaison with optometrists. Cultivate long-term relationships through personalized service, follow-up, and expertise in optical technologies and fashion trends. Manage inventory with accuracy, maintain visual presentation across the sales floor, and train team members to elevate service standards. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current, active American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification and state optician licensure
- Active Hawaii Dispensing Optician License
- Ability to produce and display credentials in a conspicuous location on-site
- 2+ years of sales experience in luxury retail or premium service environments
- Strong knowledge of optical theory, practices, and latest technologies
- Proven ability to build and maintain a loyal client base
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence
- Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Proficiency with digital tools and retail systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
- Ability to work comfortably with a variety of lighting conditions, including occasional flashing or contrasting light patterns
