Job Summary
Deliver exceptional client experiences by guiding customers in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their lifestyle, while performing precise measurements, fittings, and adjustments to ensure flawless eyewear accuracy. Cultivate long-term relationships through personalized service, follow-up, and acting as a liaison with customers' optometrists. Troubleshoot prescription issues, answer customer questions, and provide expertise in lens technology recommendations. Maintain visual presentation, manage inventory with accountability, and train team members to elevate performance standards. Adhere strictly to state laws, privacy regulations, and Meta Labs' operational excellence requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current, active American Board of Opticianry (ABO) certification
- State optician licensure
- Active Arizona Dispensing Optician License
- Ability to produce and display credentials in a conspicuous location on-site
- 2+ years of sales experience in luxury retail or premium service environments
- Strong knowledge of optical theory, practices, and latest technologies
- Proven ability to build and maintain a loyal client base
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence
- Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Proficiency with digital tools and retail systems
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
- Ability to work comfortably with a variety of lighting conditions, including occasional flashing or contrasting light patterns
