Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative services to patients under care, assisting with exercises to improve strength, balance, and mobility. Observe and document patient progress while instructing patients and family members on proper techniques for equipment use. Communicate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and maintain clean, organized treatment areas. Adhere to all healthcare and safety standards while participating in regular training to enhance job knowledge. Requires an active license to treat in Occupational Therapy, an Associate's degree, and at least one year of experience. Full-time individual contributor role at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center in Littleton, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to treat in Occupational Therapy
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapist
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices
