Job Summary
Provide rehabilitative services to patients under care, helping them with exercises and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility. Observe and document patient progress while instructing patients and family members on proper techniques for exercises and equipment use. Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and maintain clean, organized treatment areas. Adhere to all healthcare and safety standards and participate in regular training to enhance job knowledge. Requires an active license to treat in Occupational Therapy, an Associate's degree, and minimum one year of experience. Located in Littleton, Colorado, at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- State licensure as a Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Occupational Therapist
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques, principles, and practices
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move equipment and assist patients with physical activities
- Active license to treat in Occupational Therapy
