Job Summary
Supervising OT in a skilled nursing facility setting: evaluate new admissions, develop resident-centered OT plans addressing ADLs, IADLs, cognition, fine motor function, and safety; supervise and collaborate with COTA staff to ensure plan-of-care fidelity; train residents on adaptive techniques and assistive devices; partner with PT, SLP, nursing, and social services on interdisciplinary care planning; educate residents and families on goals, progress, home strategies, and discharge planning; ensure Medicare/state compliance and thorough documentation; seek consistent, meaningful geriatric rehab outcomes and opportunities for clinical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado OT license in good standing
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD preferred)
- SNF or post-acute experience preferred — strong new graduates with fieldwork in SNF settings will be considered
- Experience supervising COTAs is a plus
