Job Summary
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator will lead administrative functions at the facility, including finances, clinical oversight, resident satisfaction, resident care, employee relations, and overall operations. The role involves overseeing staff engagement, ensuring a positive culture aligned with the facility’s values, maintaining accurate medical records for billing and regulatory compliance, identifying problems and implementing corrective plans, managing financial performance and budgeting (P&L), and developing short- and long-term strategic plans. The administrator will oversee interviewing, hiring, training, and development of direct reports, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with federal/state laws while driving innovation within the facility. The job emphasizes leadership, communication, and a commitment to equal opportunity in a fast-paced long-term care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
- At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting as an Administrator or Executive Director
- Able to perform budget analysis and variance reporting
- Working knowledge of federal and state laws
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of backgrounds is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive innovation within the facility
