Job Summary
Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) leads the Otterbein ministry’s Health Center, Assisted Living, and campus care programs, ensuring licensure and regulatory compliance, quality and person-centered outcomes, and collaboration with Executive Director, Otterbein SeniorLife leadership, residents, families, and the community. Responsibilities include financial and operational management, budgeting, occupancy and census oversight, adherence to CMS requirements, regulatory surveys, and staff development, with a focus on resident satisfaction, governance, and community relations.
Required Qualifications
- Current Michigan Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing (issued by the State of Michigan)
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, Business, Gerontology, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in long-term care administration
- Demonstrated knowledge of Michigan state regulations, federal CMS requirements, and survey processes for skilled nursing facilities
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage operations, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
- Commitment to person-centered care and honoring resident autonomy
