Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN direction in the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit, assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, and emotional support. Perform complex clinical skills, document observations and medical records, and ensure infection prevention and patient privacy. Maintain patient dignity while communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Work nights (7pm-7am) on 12-hour shifts three times weekly with every other weekend commitment. Requires current New Hampshire Nursing Assistant License and two years of acute care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of current experience in an acute care setting
- Current New Hampshire, Nursing Assistant License
- Must be at a clinical level that reflects proficiency and in-depth knowledge of nursing practice
- Must be available for nights 7pm-7am (12 hour shifts)
- Must be available for every other weekend commitment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- BLS authorization preferred or obtained within 90 days of date of hire
