Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment while troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues. Operate motorized vehicles and equipment, and work in elevated areas and confined spaces. Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations. This hands-on role supports food production operations in a fast-paced environment. You must hold a valid Millwright License and be legally entitled to work in Canada. Shifts include 1st or 2nd, with availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $41.50 - $45.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
