Job Summary
Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues while operating motorized vehicles. Adhere strictly to all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations, including working in elevated areas and confined spaces. Handle duties requiring lifting 50 lbs and operating in extreme temperatures, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts. This role supports food production operations at Cargill's London facility, where you will maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe and efficient processes.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
